I was raised and still live in Silvis, Illinois. I have been here for 40 years now. This is our city hospital, very clean, safe, and their staff is generally nice as well. The skywalk is absolutely, beautiful. I love the Larson center, it has just about every doctor available , along with a lab. Basically everything you need in one stop (medical wise). I definitely recommend to all friends and family.

A semi ran me off the road and was sent here and 1 of the nurses told my wife and law enforcement i wasn't wearing my seatbelt then the doctor told that nurse i did have my seatbelt i had the bruising from it and her response was well this is my 1st day! Then I asked for my medical records and it stated I had a seizure with no evidence of me having 1 and some sentences im a male and next im a female then gave me pain meds with fentinol in it and then drug tested me claim i had fentinol in my system so I asked for an appeal form 2 weeks ago and still nothing. I've called 4 or 5 times and never get a call back. This place dosent seem like a very good place to go. Im glad I got sent to peoria hospital after looking at all my messed up medical records. I don't recommend them to my worst enemy 😤

My brother was in the hall in the er for 7 hrs! When they finally moved him into an er room I ask him if he had anything to eat or drink yet and no he hadn’t. Then I notice his iv wasn’t working so I call the nurse ask for some food for him and told her about the iv. She said she would have to get his nurse. 20 minutes later nurse shows up and said she would have to get another nurse bc she didn’t know what was wrong the 4th nurse finally noticed that the line was still clamped. Please don’t send loved one to there

Went to the ER, Monday, June 2, 2025 at 430pm for difficulty breathing. Finally at 830pm I was called back for vitals and to have a seat in the waiting area.. there were 2 sick people vomiting in blue bags. I and my daughter were now getting sick. I ask the desk if they could be moved someplace else, she said no. I than asked her, I have been here since 430 and it 8s 930, when would I be seen. She informed me between midnight and 1. We left. All I can say this is ridiculous ulous for an emergency room If you are short staff, schedule more people and pa.y them. There is a problem in this emergency room that needs to be addressed.
