I’ve been taking my kids to Dr. Goldberg for 2 years. She is kind, smart, and my kids feel comfortable and safe with her and her staff. We’ve had a really positive experience since coming here because of her. Additionally- the office is very clean and modern and everyone that works at the office has been very helpful.

I have been a patient for close to 20 years. I’ll admit the recent past with the front desk waiting area staff was way down hill from what Metro had been. But I think they have finally turned back around from that. My experiences in June and August 2025 with the new front desk staff have been excellent. They seem very caring. The front desk staff that were there in the winter of 2024 -25 were very problematic but they seem to be gone. I have never had a bad experience with a provider in medical though. Availability of appointments has gone down since the pandemic but that is all offices I work with. Pluses of Metro are that they will do blood work. There are offices at UPMC that will not do blood work in house, which is ridiculous. And that the new Athena Health app is excellent - I can see billing , appointments and had a successful experience communicating with my provider in the app. I think it is the insurance environment that makes it very hard for independent and nonprofit practices to succeed these days so I want to continue supporting Metro and hope they will continue to improve.

I was referred to NP chuck timbers by my pcp who also is through metro. i was seeking an appointment as a follow up to an er visit i had, where i fractured 3 vertebrae and a few ribs, and a concussion. the first thing chuck timbers said to me was "i dont know why you were referred to me, im only going to treat one of your problems." i told him i was in excruciating pain and needed to be seen, and possibly be prescribe antibiotics or something for the pain, and he told me "hes licensed to prescribe pain medication, but he will not be doing that for me" as "hes saw no point." from the very first second of the phone call, he was rude, belittling, and had a bothered attitude. would NOT recommend waisting your time with him.

I also feel very welcome and taken care of here. Everyone is very nice and helpful and they listen to my problems and do everything they can to help me. Very safe and understanding place for LGBTQ+ folks.
