Our roof was damaged last year by Hurricane Milton. Dealing with our insurance company was tedious and unsatisfying until Dale from Mighty Dog Roofing stepped in to assist us. He was able to connect us with an independent adjuster who was a great help in getting us a better settlement from the Insurance company. After we received the funds to repair the roof, Dale was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in discussing our options, including replacing the existing barrel tiled roof with a metal roof. Of course, we did our own due diligence with other vendors as well. We found the Mighty Dog pricing was competitive with the other roofing firms. We were also happy that they were a local roofing company who we could rely on if there were any warranty issues. After we felt that we had all the information to make an informed decision, we decided on a metal roof and chose Mighty Dog Roofing to install it. We worked with Amy, in their Lakewood Ranch office team, to schedule the project. Once we had a start date, Coy, the project manager, and supervisor got in touch with us to outline the details of the operation starting with the removal of the old barrel tile roof. Two dumpsters were delivered, and the crew went about protecting the house including the garage doors, swimming pool and plants. This was an important step for us. From the first day that the crew began tearing down the old roof, they worked long days, arriving shortly after 7 am and leaving after 6 pm. Each day, Coy gave us an update on the progress and what the next steps were. At the end of the day, the crew used a magnetic broom to collect any stray nails on the driveway. Coy answered all our questions and concerns throughout the project and keep us in the loop as the work progressed. After the old roofing tiles were removed, the metal for the new roof was delivered, and other crew members who were highly skilled and trained in metal roof installation took over. Working from the back of the house to the front, they worked quickly and diligently to get the project completed. During the project, the company CEO Phil stopped by to check on the project and get my comments. I was happy to see that every project was important to Mighty Dog and that he wanted happy customers. We were very happy with the finished roof, and we have received lots of complements from people who walk their dogs by our house. This Thanksgiving we gave thanks for our beautiful new metal roof and to Mighty Dog Roofing and their expert teams, for doing an excellent installation job for us. This company did such a great job of putting a roof on our home. From the efficiency of the sales rep, Dale, to the entire crew, they are the best and have competitive pricing too. They came when they were scheduled, the crew had safety gear and equipment and were very respectable of our property as well as the neighbors. The hard working crews worked in the heat and continued until the job was finished. They had two different supervisors always overseeing the job from beginning to end.
