Please stop and read this review. I can't put into words how incredible Hannah and Isabel are, not only as trainers, but as true partners to both you and your dog. I had been through 5 trainers before finding Golden Leash and I was so frustrated, sad, and infuriated, as a first time dog owner, that I couldn't find anyone to treat us as a team. I was struggling with puppy biting, not listening, not having an off switch and dog reactivity on walks. A lot of trainers only focus on the dog but if they can't properly train/communicate with the owner they are only addressing half of the issue and things won't get better. Hannah and Isabel take their training from a place of deep care for the dog AND the owner. They have a balanced approach that always has the dog and owner's mental, physical and emotional well being in mind. They were able to take my extremely dog reactive dog, appropriately assess his reasons for being reactive, and come up with a sustainable plan to address and modify the behavior. Their communication throughout the process was incredible and they recommended private lessons before the board and train which made an incredible difference to the whole process. What initially drew me in to their website was "we know you have had other trainers but we will be your last". It made me cry because I was so relieved to find a true partner for training and I finally found one. If you are looking for a trainer PLEASE look no further and do yourself a favour and reach out to Golden Leash K9 immediately. I can guarantee you will not regret it and your dog will thank you! When I originally took my young Doberman for our first session he was extremely fear reactive to dogs and I thought I’d never be able to have him near other dogs or hike off leash. After training with Isabel and Hannah I now have a solid, well rounded Dobie that I can take anywhere off leash and be confident in our abilities. They were always available for help and encouragement and genuinely happy for our accomplishments.
