Please stop and read this review. I can't put into words how incredible Hannah and Isabel are, not only as trainers, but as true partners to both you and your dog. I had been through 5 trainers before finding Golden Leash and I was so frustrated, sad, and infuriated, as a first time dog owner, that I couldn't find anyone to treat us as a team. I was struggling with puppy biting, not listening, not having an off switch and dog reactivity on walks. A lot of trainers only focus on the dog but if they can't properly train/communicate with the owner they are only addressing half of the issue and things won't get better. Hannah and Isabel take their training from a place of deep care for the dog AND the owner. They have a balanced approach that always has the dog and owner's mental, physical and emotional well being in mind. They were able to take my extremely dog reactive dog, appropriately assess his reasons for being reactive, and come up with a sustainable plan to address and modify the behavior. Their communication throughout the process was incredible and they recommended private lessons before the board and train which made an incredible difference to the whole process. What initially drew me in to their website was "we know you have had other trainers but we will be your last". It made me cry because I was so relieved to find a true partner for training and I finally found one. After looking at another local option for service dog training, what a relief and pleasure it was to find Golden Leash. Hannah and Isabel work so hard in every single aspect you can possibly imagine. Absolutely the best trainers I have ever worked with. Being in the pet care industry myself, I have known and worked with many trainers in my lifetime and Hannah and Isabel have been by far the best.
