This is my health we’re talking about here! When you send me for a CT scan and it comes back bad enough for you to call me same day, make an appt etc.. I show up to my appt and no one knows what I’m talking about. Front desk lady can’t get my name right, asked me for my birthdate 3x and still had it wrong. Said she doesn’t know anything about my appt etc… This is absurd! I’m left wondering if this is just a glorified doc-in-a-box or a real general practitioner! This isn’t a single occurrence either. Last year the doc said he wanted to see me back in 6 months and I watched him write that in my file. Tell me how I made it out of the office without the front desk scheduling this?? Oh but they were sure to get their money….
You will not see a doctor, but a physician's assistant. The physician's assistants are nice and professional, but if you want to see a doctor you probably won't. On your first visit, they will tell you one price, but then add additional fees on top of the bill they tell you, but won't tell you until after you've been seen. This happened to me this first visit, and if I didn't complain I believe I would've been charged extra fees the second time as well. [The Following is a response to the Doctor's Office Owners after they replied to my comment] I was not informed of any of the things you mentioned. I was only informed that the treatments I would receive would be charged to my insurance, and I would have my initial co-pay on my first visit. I was not told of any extra prices or anything during my visit until after treatment. Patients should be aware of these things so they don't feel they're taken advantage of. I was not told that I was able to see the Physician, and maybe if I did I would've had a better experience. I was not aware of any of those things because no one told me. I was only told I could approve or deny medical advice. I was not aware I could get a second opinion from someone else at the clinic. So, I've decided to go elsewhere. Your physician's assistants were very cordial and nice to me, but I was still unsatisfied with the visits. I also emailed you and left my name and number with the complaints above, and have had no response, so far.
A bunch of high school girls are running this place or…? I called them 2 weeks in advanced for my husband’s appointment, made sure that they take his insurance, I have been told they do. Called yesterday, a day before the appointment to give his insurance information, been told again - great we have it covered we will see you tomorrow. All of this just for my husband to wait 2 weeks, take a day off, drive 40 minutes from the colony to be told they don’t actually accept his insurance. Do better.
