Wonderful labor and delivery department! I was extremely nervous about delivering and all the nurses I had when delivering were wonderful. Dr. Perkinson was the on call doctor and he was fantastic. I never thought I would be laughing while delivering my baby, but it was truly a fun experience! They take great care of you here, I could have ten more babies in this hospital with the experience I had :)

Those people have bizarre behavior. I asked for bloodwork via the portal because my recent bloodwork had abnormalities. First, I was told that Dr. Wilson doesn't use the portal, then I was advised I had to come in for an appointment to have more bloodwork ordered although I had just been there a week ago. This was after many unanswered calls to them and no response for a week to my portal message. So I made an appointment. Then they called me and canceled my appointment (which was also for congested lungs), saying Dr. Wilson feels he can't help me due to my portal request and that I need tertiary care. But, no referral to tertiary care because "you must sign a release or we will not refer you" and "your bloodwork is normal." Normal....but tertiary care? For? She couldn't answer that. I tape recorded it all. Patients beware. These people are very disorganized, to put it gently.

Let me tell you something about this hospital. It’s going to be lengthy but it’s important. I am a widow and so my health is something I struggle with alone. But I have met my health struggles head on and with the help of the doctors and the hospital I am improving . My specialist in Rogers, Arkansas is who I am seeing for, severe thyroid eye disease. The only treatment available is Tepezza. Which is eight infusions over 24 weeks. I was told the only where I could receive them was in a major hospital in Arkansas or Joplin Springfield Kansas City. But being the person I am, I said, but I work at a hospital that does infusions. I contacted Teresa Reed my primary care physician and she checked and Jodee the chief pharmacist at the hospital insured that we would successfully infuse. I have just had the infusion the first of eight in total. I’m tired but so grateful that I was able to receive my treatment locally. I support the hospital NRMC not because I am a proud employee but also because I am very grateful patient. From the registration staff to the nurses and doctors who are so supportive I thank you. And I hope that you know how important this hospital is to our community.
