The Behavioral Health floor is excellent. I’ve been searching for the right therapist, on and off, for twenty years. Hector is a diamond in the rough and the rest of the Behavioral Health unit is awesome. Full disclosure, I can totally understand mixed reviews from the other floors and units but Floor 3 is the place to be. Many thanks to you all at NSCHC.

After my PCP’s At AHN refused care, and multiple UPMC doctors misdiagnosed me, North Side Christian Health Center took the time to understand my situation and treated me with the proper care. I recommend them over the two large health networks in the city any day!

At one point would give this place 5 stars but honestly its not what it use to be. My provider changed location so I needed to schedule with somone new here. I was happy that they got me in so quick for a physical with a new provider but thats were the good ends. After being checked in and vitals taken I finally got to meet the new doctor. First impression are everything and he completely dropped the ball. He made a comment about my teeth and when he saw i took offense he played it off like a compliment. He then did a quick physical and didnt ask me anything about prior health history or anything. You know the important thing when meeting a new patients for the first time?! He then rushed me out and I mentioned are we doing routine labs and he said " I think we can do that" then said about how the nurses are busy so I said " ok just send them to quest up the street and ill do them tomorrow since I gotta fast anyway. He proceeded to say " I dont do that im old school just come back here". Ive never had a doctor be so unwelcoming and will also be calling in to do a formal complaint. Will be switching offices as well more likely than not after almost 8 years going here.

All I wanted to do was get a physical they had just seen me and they still wouldn't give me the grace to fill out a physical form. I came back for a TB test they almost made me too late for the TB test waiting on a nurse to check for my appointment. Now today I come here for a physical they tell me it's going to take 2 hours to see somebody I run out for 20 minutes come back they say oh I got to redo my appointment because they called me and now I can't get my appointment until the 7th. Unless you have 4 hours to waste don't go to this terrible choice for a hospital they're not a good PCP you will not get seen for months on end and they're terrible at their jobs
