Customer experiences
Northern Pharmacy was one of only two durable medical equipment (DME) suppliers who agreed to service our hospital bed even though we had received it from another supplier (AH). Our DME supplier said they do not service their DME beyond the rental period. I spent five days searching for a supplier who would service our bed. I discovered that suppliers typically won't service equipment if they didn't provide it... that's understandable. Many of them did say that they do service their DME beyond the rental period (something to keep in mind if you have to get DME). Meanwhile, we were managing as best we could getting Dad in/out of bed without the motor working. Finally, I was speaking with Fallston Pharmacy at the time their DME rep was there and they suggested I try Northern Pharmacy. HALLELUJAH!! Jeremy McCabe in the service department was very accommodating AND agreed to work on the bed even though it's not even a model that they supply. He and Lattrell were very agreeable and accommodating. The story takes a turn here so I didn't schedule them to service the bed after all, but for any future DME needed for either parent, I'm going to have the Rx sent to Northern Pharmacy. Thank you again, Mr. McCabe, for your time and assistance. You were a HUGE blessing in time of need. I'm grateful. Sincerely, Yvonne E.
Amazing service! My doctor sent my prescription to this pharmacy, and I received a text asking me to give them a call. I’m not sure who I spoke with, but my receipt says Erica — and she was spectacular! She quickly took my insurance information and payment over the phone. I placed the order on Tuesday, and by Thursday my medication arrived perfectly packaged with clear instructions, refrigeration, and syringes included. Thank you for the prompt, easy, and stress-free service and delivery!
I think this could be the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. I have now gone one month without my medication for refusal of this pharmacy to coordinate with my provider when I tell you this pharmacy does not answer the phone. I’m not sure how you can operate without actually talking to patients or at least returning their call when we leave a message to say you are short staffed for three months is just not acceptable. It’s not an excuse. I had to switch to Walgreens on Bel Air Rd. and I received 100% better and faster service with so much more communication. I did not even have to call Walgreens. They have a chat box in which a pharmacy technician was able to help me via text and now I am receiving my medication’s Like I should.
Recently had reconstruction surgery on my knee. I can't get around to well yet so I called to have my medication delivered. I called several times a day sitting on the phone for 2-3 hrs. No one ever answers the phone no matter what time of the day I call and how long I wait on the phone. Can't leave a message because their voice mail is always full. After 5 days of trying to get in contact with a pharmacist about having my medications delivered (to no avail) a delivery person comes to deliver my meds without informing me they were coming so I missed the delivery because I was at pt at they time they tried to deliver. No one try contacting me about another delivery time nor did they make another attempt to deliver. I am sitting on the phone on hold as I type this review trying to set up a new delivery time. I've been on hold for about 2.5 hrs now. I'm about ready to give up on this pharmacy and have the doctor send my order elsewhere. This is getting ridiculous.
Northern Pharmacy and Medical Equipment is a pharmacy.
