I just want to extend my deepest gratitude to the entire blood lab nurse department at Northwestern Medicine in Sandwich for the exceptional care and compassion they showed my son this morning during his blood draw. My son is autistic, and medical procedures can be incredibly overwhelming for him. But the team pulled out every possible stop to make the experience as calming and positive as it could be. From toys and fidgets to stickers, ice packs, and even a vibrating "Buzz-E" on his arm — they thought of everything. They even blew bubbles and guided a group meditation with us all to help calm and center him. It may sound unbelievable, but they made what is usually a very stressful and difficult moment into something gentle and supportive. They went above and beyond in every way. Their patience, kindness, and creativity made a huge difference for both my son and myself, and I walked away feeling deeply moved and incredibly grateful. To the amazing team of nurses — thank you from the bottom of my heart. You truly made a difference today.

I went here for chest pains while pregnant due to my OBGYN being concerned. The staff was all very rude and short with me. They wanted to run tests to which I asked them questions for the safety of my baby and they were very rude with their answers. The doctor spoke slowly with me and made me feel like I was dumb for what I was asking/saying. I would not recommend this hospital, I have been many times and each time just gets worse than the last.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! I had an appt for my son’s ultrasound and I was waiting for over an hour. Another lady walked out pissed off that she was waiting with no update. I went to the front to ask what was going on and the receptionist was like I don’t know when they will see you we only have 1 tech and we are busy! Are you serious? If I could give them a 0 I would. The wait is horrible, they seem so disorganized, understaffed! I wouldn’t ever come back here!
