Customer experiences
My bf and my kids and I went to kill some time and found this little gem not to far from out hotel. My bf and I were pleased as punch to find a ecko store on their upper level and ended up getting my 2 girls matching gold sequin dresses for the show we were going to later that night for $6 regularly almost $50. We enjoyed our walk through this little mall.
â¨Â âBright spaces, clean facilities, and a mall thatâs evolving with Ottawa.â â St. Laurent Shopping Centre â Ottawa, ON â St. Laurent is one of Ottawaâs known Shopping Centre, and while it remains a reliable spot, it has seen some changes over the years since it opened in Oct.1967. A number of stalls and even major anchors like Hudsonâs Bay have permanently closed. Many of the current retailers lean toward low-end fast fashion. For bargain hunters, this means frequent sales and clearance finds, though those looking for upscale brands may find the selection limited. That said, the spacious common areas are a real highlight. The mall is designed with wide walkways, high ceilings, and striking glass dome skylights that fill the space with natural light. The modern chandelier accents add a touch of style, making the atmosphere bright and inviting even if some store fronts are vacant. The Restaurant Terrace (food court) is roomy and offers a wide array of food choices â perfect for a quick meal. Another standout feature is the washrooms: despite the heavy food court traffic, theyâre impressively clean, modern, and accessible, with large signage and braille plaques for inclusivity. Overall, Whether youâre looking for a quick bite, bargain hunting, or just enjoying a stroll through bright and spacious walkways under the glass dome ceilings, St. Laurent offers a comfortable mall experience in the heart of Ottawa. St. Laurent delivers on comfort and convenience, even if the retail mix is shifting. Itâs a a comfortable place to shop, stroll, and grab a bite when in Ottawa.â #StLaurentOttawa #OttawaShopping #MallVibes #FoodCourtEats #CleanFacilities #BrightSpaces #InclusiveDesign #BecauseServiceMatters đŻ #FreeParking #WheelChairAccessible
Nice shopping center! We went there to go eat at Taco Bell. We almost didnât find the restaurant, because when we search on the orientation screen⌠âTâ for Taco Bell it doesnât show. I was going to leave, but when we passed the restaurant area, my wife said: âIsnât that Taco Bell next to KFC?â The shopping center ought to update their screen software! Then while we were eating my wife did a search of children clothes and we saw on Google that there was a âChildrenâs Placeâ, so again I do a search for âCâ for Children⌠didnât find it again. We were then on our way out and I decided to call the store and ask where they were located⌠near the Pandora exit. I then saw the name of the business on on the front of the store â The Childrenâs Placeâ⌠then did a search with âTâ and found it. Just saying that the mall software ought to pick up on partial names of businesses. Without knowing it, maybe the mallâs businesses are loosing income because of this faulty software. Other than that, the mall is great, clean, well lit.
It's neither the biggest mall in Ottawa nor the one with the most exciting stores, but St. Laurent Shopping Centre is a great one, with quite enough of what you need. It's centrally located and with recent renovations it now looks very spacious, modern and lit, which translates to a relaxing experience and a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers.
