*DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY* they will never fulfill maintenance request. They asked me to move out with 5 days notice because of an issue they refuse to repair. There is visible mold in the ducting and several months later they have still not resolved the issue. Absolutely terrible tenant service. The absolute worst management company I have ever dealt with. Now the garage door is broken. I have a car stuck inside and they refuse to respond to emails, calls, or maintenance requests. Today the air conditioning has failed, we’ll see if they make a timely repair on this 100° day. Probably not. Why would they start now. HORRIBLE TENANT SERVICES. THESE OTHER REVIEWS ARE ABSOLUTE LIARS. TRASH COMPANY. They repaired the AC but still have done nothing about the various locations of BLACK MOLD throughout the property. Now I have been moved out for over a month and they won’t return emails or phone calls regarding the deposit. I can’t explain what a terrible company this is. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO CONSTANTLY BE DISAPPOINTED BY TERRIBLE SERVICE. WHAT A JOKE OF A COMPANY.

We used Hometown Realty to manage our two properties. Unfortunately our experience was highly disappointing. The company failed to communicate for months, was consistently unreachable, and caused us thousands of dollars in lost rent because, although tenants paid their rent, Hometown Realty did not forward those payments to us as required by our contract. We recently learned that a tenant at one of our properties reported multiple maintenance issues, all of which went unanswered and unresolved by Hometown Realty. As out-of-state owners, we relied on Robin and her company’s services, but they failed to honor their agreement to inspect our properties twice a year and report any issues. We have since switched to a new property management company and are much more satisfied. We strongly advise against renting from or entrusting your properties to Hometown Realty.

I have been dealing with Robin and her team for 4 years or so. She has always been pleasant to interact with. I imagine the demands from a position like hers must be grueling and would change a person over time. Yet, her disposition has always been polite, patient and understanding. Growing up, my parents worked at several properties involved with renting (Mom) and maintenance (Dad). So I got to see a little bit behind the scenes when it comes to dealing with tenants from various income levels. I remember how frustrated they would be from trying to help the people who were by and large, demanding and uncompromising. I'm not sure if Hometown Reality faces the same dynamic as what I experienced second hand. But I have always felt like my needs we're heard and left with an overall feeling that I was in good hands. I have had the pleasure of working with several of the members of her team over time, and the culture within the company is one that puts people first. They are always communicative and efficient. I have referred severaI friends and family to them. My daughter being one of them. Any time there has been an issue with the property she rents , fallen tree/ backed up toilet etc, she was able to reach them and someone was sent out to address the problem quickly. Having seen several of the properties just before someone moved in, they were always clean and everything worked properly. The walls and floors were either new, freshly painted or recently cleaned. I don't usually write many reviews unless a product or service is exceptional. So I felt compelled to give Hometown a shout out for being one less thing causing stress in my life. I appreciate knowing they are there to help, if needed, and despite what's going on, the feeling that they will make me and my situation a priority. So, thanks guys, keep up the good work!
