One of the best gyms in Calgary for all they provide. ✅️ Equipment is top notch with many different aspects of the machine customizable ✅️ Clean facility with clear areas and weights put away ✅️ Use of several bins for clean+dirty cloths to wipe down machines - as well as several bottles - was impressive ✅️ I enjoyed the cool small detail of playing a brief few seconds of Rocky Music every time a member scans ✅️ Clean washrooms and several showers + sauna (bonus is the body wash in the showers) ✅️ Manager was helpful, professional and always willing to answer questions + guide ❗️Price points is high when you factor in additional cleaning fee twice a year ❗️Protein shakes are not good and would not recommend for cost point ❗️Only cycling bikes available for cardio are the two in VIP space Overall, 4⭐️as it's a great gym I would recommend to anyone looking for a good lifting fitness centre. -1 for subpar protein shakes, front desk staff could be more engaging, and lack of bikes in main space
The staff and facility are great—clean and well-maintained—but I have an issue with the cancellation policy. I moved to a new city that doesn’t have a World Gym, and even though I’ve been paying for over six months after moving, they now want to charge me a maintenance fee and an additional $100 for canceling due to relocation. I already paid an annual fee and weekly payments, yet I haven’t used the gym in over six months. I don’t understand why I should pay a maintenance fee or a $100 relocation charge when I can provide proof of my new address. Either way i feel like they’re overcharging under any condition.
have been a member of world gym for 3 months now, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The facility is top-notch, with a wide variety of equipment that is always clean and well-maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, special the gym manager Saurabh! always willing to offer advice and support. The atmosphere is motivating and inclusive, making it a great place for both beginners and seasoned fitness enthusiasts. Highly recommend!
