I had my first appointment with Emily Loving today and I left loving my hair! A friend recommended the salon to me and I picked Emily based on her pricing- best for my budget. I felt like it was a great value! She is a kind, sweet person. She made me a cup of tea and made my daughter and I feel so at home. The salon is DARLING! It has beautiful light streaming in, which is also beneficial for getting haircolor right. It's very clean, too. I came in with some sad hair. A lot of breakage, and fried ends. I wanted a highlight to retouch my roots. Emily took extra care to make sure there was no further breakage, using product to protect my fragile hair. She worked with skill and quickly, but I never felt like she was rushed or trying to get me out of the chair. It was a relaxing experience and my hair tuned out amazing! I honestly cannot remember when my haircolor last looked this good! She is a magician with color. You can tell she loves what she does. She also reshaped my hair and I feel confident that working with Emily I can regrowth my hair out healthy from here on out. I'm so happy I found her!!!

Sara is a phenomenal hairdresser! She is transitioning my new growth gray hair into my auburn hair with strategically placed highlights and a demi color at the roots in a similar shade of my old color graduating and blending to the new color, so I don't have to cut it really short. Eventually the demi color will fade and my own color will start showing thru. She is amazing and I would highly recommend her for any type of color treatment or hair cut/style!

So to put the situation lightly, this is the worst haircut I have ever received from Emily Loving: I enter the appointment with clear goals. I just got married so my hair was very long but without shape, I needed the ends healthy and layers added in so it wouldn’t be so heavy. I also clearly stated I work in health care so I cannot have pieces of my hair that will not fit into a ponytail. The stylist demonstrated with her comb- the edges that weren’t healthy before we started and that’s where we left it with length. The washing of my hair was aggressive and painful. No care was taken and I could feel her ripping through my hair to administer the product. Once back in the chair she continued to try to comb a wide tooth comb through my hair, ripping through the tangles and knots, instead of adequately conditioning and using a leave in product after- which I explained I use after every wash. She began to cut a large amount off without showing me how much she was taking and then continued to cut and cut and rip through my hair in the process. Not only was this painful, I was faced diagonal from the mirror so as she continued to cut layers, I couldn’t see what was happening. As you can see these front right side ā€œhackā€ of hair will not go back into a pony tail and it is a completely different length than the rest of my hair and compared to my left side completely different style of cut and length. The back is much longer than the front and it’s an altogether nightmare! When I started with the longest most beautiful hair I’ve had in my life: I’m devastated and had to pay 87$ for this service. I am traumatized.

I’m so picky about my hair it’s truly hard to find someone I trust it with - especially with cuts! I told Kayla what I wanted and she gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. I booked another appointment for upkeep less then 30 minutes after leaving the salonšŸ˜… you will not be disappointed if you book with her!!!
