Great place for all leather goods, I staff was fantastic and super nice and helpful. I got a watch band and they custom made it for me on the spot. The service was amazing and I will certainly come back the next time I visit Portland.

This place was great! My friend was searching for a locally made real leather purse and this was top of her list. The shop was so cool and the goods are made on site. My friend got a super cute purse and we both ended up getting belts too! The belts were amazing, the buckles are removable so you can change it out if you want. They’ll add more holes to the belt too if you need and they monogrammed them for us for free! Carmen and Levi helped us out and they were so nice and helpful.

This store is truly the best. Don Pepe, his wife his sons, his whole family, and Rain… have always been so good to me. It feels right and good to support a truly local family business. They are true passionate leather experts. Coming from materials and textiles nerd who worked for Nike and in manufacturing generally for 15 years… their craftsmanship and attention to detail is outstanding. They do bespoke work and custom design things with you, including edits to their already outstanding core product lines. The whole time, you’re getting warm, caring attention from good humans and you’re made to feel part of the family. Beautiful small-batch artisan hand-made stuff… the workshop where they make everything from scratch is IN THE STORE. Check it out… like an open kitchen you can see everything. The father and sons are there working all the time, the mother runs the shop, and the strong Oaxaca Mexican family heritage imbues the whole place with a “Coco”-like ambiance… the vibes and feel of the place is impeccable. Oaxaca leather artisans are famous for their intricate designs and level of high-grade hand-made detail. Fortunate to have a place like this in Oregon. The rich smell of the leather hits you when you walk in. Obviously, can’t say enough about this place. One of my fav places in Portland and I feel extremely lucky it’s in my backyard downtown. Promote the little guys! A family business like this that produces such high quality deserves to succeed. I carry around their stuff and use it internationally on my business trips. Quality has never failed me. On one occasion a zipper pull got a little loose but they fixed for free without questions immediately. I get asked all the time on vacation and on business where I got my bags. Idk if they have an online store (I think so?) but I tell them to go to Portland and check out the flagship. Because you can see them actually working on all the stuff right there in front of you. Like a free tour and peek behind the scenes at how they actually make the stuff you’re about to buy. No hidden secrets. Just expert craftsmanship they’re obviously proud of… as they should be. Anyways, longest review I’ve ever left - go visit.

Fantastic store with wonderful staff! Carmen and Levi were helpful and knowledgeable. My friend and I not only purchased quality products, we had a memorable experience being able to monogram our purchases. I am proud to invest in a locally made, real, beautiful leather purse. I am sure I will be a returning customer! (also smells so good in the store)
