Jessie Owen CopeI did the $195 deluxe head spa (head massage and facial). I left with my head hurting from anything dealing with “massaging” my head. Which is so disappointing because the videos make it look so relaxing. The facial was nice though but didn’t last long. Afterwards, my hair didn’t really get styled as promised. I said down and she dried and curled my hair and when I left there were hardly any curls. I was told it was $195 for an hour and half which is exactly what I got (1:00-2:30) but when I went to pay I was told that because my hair was so thick and the length I was charged $50 more. I understand this may be something that a lot of salons do but when you do not mention it before the service starts or at booking then it’s a problem. Also I didn’t get any extra time, it was just the fact I had a lot of hair. So be prepared to pay more unless you have short and thin hair. This was a treat for my birthday so I splurged and got the best package only to be disappointed, lied to and with a headache. Also the girl at the front desk acted shocked when I lowered the tip amount. That extra $50 would have been the tip but I was still gracious enough to leave $30.
