**BEWARE** If I could give zero stars I would. Steven is the most unprofessional, unreliable and untrustworthy person i have ever dealt with. He was NEVER on time, ALWAYS had an excuse and could not be relied on from day to day. His excuses were plentiful ranging from ran out of gas and needs $20 to show up, radiator cap fell off truck, kicked out of house, girlfriend has his laptop to drinking too much the night before...the list goes on. I paid him $6k up front to buy materials and start job, which he blatantly lied about ordering materials for almost a month straight stating it was delivered to wrong store to he was double charged and now needs more money etc. I went to lowes to verify his order, we looked up his order history for prior 6 months and he never ordered my material. His partner later verified this and said he used the money for other things. I had to re-order myself and wait a month for windows and door coming out of pocket another $3500. Learn from my mistake, if you consider using Carpenter Construction LLC, purchase your own materials and pay him daily for the work agreed on for that specific day only if he does what was agreed upon.. He took long lunch breaks and in five days that he did show up did about 20 hours worth of crappy work. I wouldn't recommend Carpenter construction LLC to empty my trash can. When Steven messes up he avoids and dodges all attempts to contact him, again with excuses. I have had to resort to civil action to recover money owed to me and to rework 1/2 the horrible work he did complete. I am out more than I paid him to this point. I had 2 other licenced contractors come bid on the rework job after Steven failed to show up for a week and agreed to refund me a portion of the deposit I gave him (which has been 3 weeks and no effort on his part). Both contractors couldn't believe what they saw (not in a good way) and said the rework would be more costly than starting from scratch. But lesson learned I guess. I could go on and on about why you shouldn't hire him, just Google his name (which i should have done 1st) do your due diligence on reaesrch. However, you should get the gist of it. Just pay a little extra and use a knowledgeable and licensed contractor, you'll save yourself money and a whole lot of frustration in the long run.

Great company the original estimate was out of our price range but he came back and sat down with us and found an option that worked was in and out another faster then we expected will definitely use Carpenter Construction again
