I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried to far at Pelican Lake Sandwich Company but I love the Roast Beef Sandwich the best! Staff are always friendly and offer to switch my bun from the kaiser to sub bun since I cannot have sesame seeds. The flavour of the Tidy Joe was very unique, a sweet and sort of honey garlic with a bit of Dijon taste. It reminded me of meat balls. I didn’t find it spicy but was very filling that I could share some bites. The pulled pork parfait BBQ sauce is also house-made and had that little hint that was similar in the Tidy Joe but also had a tangy spiciness. Cone was a bit small to fit the pulled pork in but they topped it up so that it was very filling. Not a super Smokey BBQ sauce but I really enjoyed it a lot of depth of flavour! I always leave here very satisfied. They also offer desserts. The peanut butter bars are great. I would love to try their cheesecake someday :)

I am a proud Native Canadian and always try and support Nish businesses in our area. This one has been famous for quite some time around here. Everything is made from scratch and you can definitely notice. They have all kinds of fresh baked goods. One of my personal favourites is the macaroons! I can never get just one ā˜ļø they are to damn good. The sandwiches are fantastic as well! The coffee is also worth mentioning. Great job on doing everything right consistently over the years. Cheers! Chi Miigwetch for all your hard work

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Very attractive store front. Lots of parking. All four of us tried a different sandwich. The Naan BLT was by far the best of them. The Tidy Joe (sloppy joe wrap) was the least favorite for all. The peanut butter bar and cookies were all very good! Staff was very friendly. Bathrooms were definitely a weak spot.

Highly recommend for the Cubano or Norseman sandwiches. The pulled pork parfait is a personal favorite. (BBQ pulled pork served in a waffle cone...pure genius!)
