I’ve had to bring my dog and cat to Penhorn Animal Hospital a few times when I couldn’t get an appointment with my long-time vet clinic, and I can’t say enough good things about them. My pets always receive excellent, timely care, and the wait time for appointments is usually very short. The staff never make you feel rushed—they truly take the time to care for your furry family members. Everyone there is friendly, compassionate, and professional. Their hours are also very convenient. The quality of their service has consistently exceeded my expectations, and that’s why I’ve decided to make Penhorn Animal Hospital our primary vet going forward.
I came to this clinic today in a really stressful situation after my dog’s post surgery incision had opened. I wasn’t a client here originally, but from the moment I walked in, (15 minutes before they closed) the level of care was on an entirely different level. The staff took my concerns seriously right away, and the veterinarian came out personally to examine my dog’s wound. She gave me a clear, step-by-step demonstration on how to dress it properly, explained exactly, what to watch for, and how to support the healing. She even recorded a full video tutorial and emailed it to me so I could repeat the dressing method at home. On top of that, they provided all the materials I needed on the spot. This was the kind of thoughtful, thorough, hands on support I expected from a veterinary clinic, and I’m incredibly grateful for how they handled the situation. They turned a stressful moment into one where I finally felt informed, supported, and confident in how to care for my dog.
