I am currently a patient in this hospital, yesterday the ER doctor was going to release me, even though I had multiple bulging disc in my back, pushing on my nerves and I could not walk, let alone stand up or spread my legs, when I could not get off of the bed, the one Nurse went to the bottom of the bed and grab my legs to try to pull me off of the bed and return. I screamed because it felt like I was being ripped apart after that he picked up my leg and threw it on the bed. I lost all bladder control after this happened and I was urinating on myself. I reported it to the patient advocate as well as the patient of family representative. As of today, 10/17/2025 I have been begging for a catheter to be put in, so I am not urinating on myself, evening staff Took up to 45 minutes to come to my room after ringing the bell every time I ask to speak to the charge nurse or someone in charge, I was refused and they left the room and didn’t come back for hours and when they did, it was just a turn off the light and leave the room again. . The house supervisor, at 8:45 pm then came to my room being rude and condescending. I asked to speak to her boss and she told me no that she is not in. I puked on my bed as well as urinated multiple times I am still not cleaned up, And still till this time, I have been refused to talk to any chain of command. I have been treated like an animal since I had gotten to Saint Joe’s, I have asked multiple times for a transferred to a different hospital and was refused. Multiple doctors and nurses have come in to tell me that if they can’t figure out the problem, they don’t know where to go from here. The pain has been managed every two hours with medicine instead of ways to try to figure out what the issue is and how we can fix it permanently. I have been physically mentally emotionally abused, as well as neglected since I’ve been in this hospital yesterday evening. I am not been able to get off of my stomach for multiple days now.
I went to the hospital after discovering I was pregnant and experiencing spotting, but the visit turned into a distressing ordeal. After waiting for hours, I was simply told that spotting was normal and sent home. Two days later, I returned in severe pain and with heavy bleeding. Again, I faced a long wait, and it wasn't until I insisted on immediate attention that I was examined. The confirmation of my miscarriage was delivered without any compassion, and I was given no pain relief or medication to manage the bleeding. Despite being pale and on the verge of passing out, the only advice I received was to 'go home and take Tylenol.' It's appalling to think that in such a traumatic moment, the hospital staff failed to provide the basic care and comfort that should be their duty. Please don’t come hear if you are going through something similar I wish I would had stayed home surrounded by my loved ones.
I had the most wonderful experience in the radiology department today, 9/22. Evonne and Karen, you two are angels from above. Both of you will always hold a special place in my heart. You both made me feel so comfortable. And boy, did we laugh! I never laughed so much at an appointment. I needed that. I was a little anxious. And, Dr. Ehrlich, keep doing what you do! Regardless of my results, I am thankful for you, Karen and Evonne. All of you make an amazing team. You should be proud!!
