Customer experiences
The service that I received on Saturday 01, 11. 2025 fron Laila and and Soroush was exceptional. Laila went above and beyond to have my rings cleaned. She is just an amazing person I would definitely recommend anyone to do business with her and the people's jewelry.
Witnessed Awful Customer Behavior — Huge Respect for the Employee I just wanted to leave a review after witnessing an incredibly rude and disrespectful couple harass one of the employees in the store today. The young woman who was helping them is someone I’ve personally dealt with before — she’s always been professional, kind, and genuinely helpful every time I’ve needed assistance. This couple (Brown guy and headscarf woman) was trying to do a price match but didn’t even have the physical receipt with them — which honestly seemed sketchy. The employee politely asked for their phone number to locate them in the system, but nothing came up. Instead of being understanding, they started acting like she was personally trying to cause them problems, saying things like “This happened at Vaughan Mills too. Call Oshawa.” The employee, being extremely patient, called the Oshawa location for them — and they were found in their system there. Oshawa even confirmed they could handle the price adjustment. So she calmly suggested that they go back to the Oshawa store, since they had the record there. But that’s when things got ugly. The couple started bullying her, saying things like “You’re getting paid to help us, why should we go to Oshawa?” in a loud, aggressive tone. It was disturbing to watch. The woman even mentioned they lived in Whitby, which made it even more ridiculous — Oshawa is literally 5–10 minutes away. The employee still tried to keep things professional, calmly warning them that she’d have to call security if the behavior continued. She handled it with so much grace and patience, way more than most people would. I honestly felt like I should have called security for her. It was upsetting to witness such entitled and mean-spirited behavior. This employee deserves praise, not abuse. Management, if you’re reading this — she’s a great asset to your team. To the rude couple: Treat people with basic human decency. No one deserves to be bullied for doing their job — especially when they’re trying to help you. I recorded the entire interaction on video — every word they said to her. I started filming when it became clear they were being verbally aggressive and wouldn’t stop. I didn’t share the video publicly, but I do have it if the store or security needs it.
We had the pleasure of meeting Denise and Laila recently at the Pickering Town Centre location. They were both professional and courteous. They offered a friendly service which made us feel warm and comfortable. Wishing them all the best. /Joan & Michael
If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent experience here was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. When I arrived to pick up my order, I began to explain the reason for my visit but was interrupted by the associate, who immediately asked for my ID in a rude manner. After providing both my ID and the order number, I was told that my order did not exist in their system, despite having both a text message and email confirmation that it was ready for pick-up two days prior. She insisted my name wasn’t in their system, and after going back and forth, she suddenly “found” my order—with my name clearly on it. Her excuse was that she was looking at someone else’s order, but that doesn’t make sense since I had given her the correct order number (which should be unique). The way she treated me made it clear she judged me based on how I was dressed, as if I couldn’t afford to shop there. Her behavior was rude, unprofessional, and discriminatory. Stay far away unless you want to be disrespected and treated unfairly.
