This program is exemplary from start to finish! Your experience depends on you though. Take full advantage. The selection process is very competitive so be mindful. Most programs have an age cap of 24; not here. Even if you have experience, you will walk away knowing more than you started. The staff is super helpful even when you are alumni. The best part is being able to continue to upskill after your initial certification. They also have resources for financial literacy, job readiness (including professional attire if needed), resume building tools, and much more. I highly recommend especially if you are young.

Per Scholas was a game-changer for me. It gave me the skills, confidence, and support I needed to break into tech. The instructors were knowledgeable and genuinely cared about our success. I’m so grateful for the experience and highly recommend it to anyone looking to make a career switch.

I was told about this program from my best friend who went graduated in 2022. He found job placement afterwards and then moved up to working at T Rowe Price. Seeing his success and having always been told by family and friends to "get into computers", I was always the tech go to guy. So I decided to take the leap and apply. From the initial interview, to orientation and my first day "back in school" driving to Baltimore, I was always made sure to be prepared for the class ahead through Per Scholas training and on boarding. With help through financial aid, judicial help, emotional help and educational help with the Learner Support Team and overall knowledge support from the entire staff. Everyone here at Per Scholas wants you succeed but you have to put in the effort and the want. After graduating I attended the Job Fair on campus, and made sure to meet every single person and offered my resume. Without Per Scholas I would not be where I am today working in the tech field, completing a life unknown goal of finally "working with computers". Special Thanks to Stephen, Shamari, Helena, LaShaunda, Jarrod, Camisha

Between the IT Lessons that are very hands on and the Professional Development Class, Per Scholas Baltimore is definitely where you want to be if you are looking to launch your career in IT or just scale up with different courses. I’ve never a staff more dedicated to the success of their learners. And of course, the fact that it’s completely free is the icing on the cake.
