TLDR: was 2.5 hours late on wedding day for her self imposed time to be there and dodged blame When an issue arises, it’s generally best not to put 100% of the blame on one party. Somewhat relatedly, the 80/20 rule is a common idiom in business. That being said, I’d be willing to take a minority responsibility in any issues that resulted in our wedding day. Had we known or been advised, items could have been labeled to where they were supposed to go or we could have rented more, bought less. That does not, however, affect Alainna being 2.5 hours late past her self imposed deadline on wedding day, late to most other meetings, and was not considerate to other vendors. Feedback from one of our other vendors, with who neither party had a congenial relation, insinuated that Alainna has been like this for all of the other weddings where the two have interacted. I think most of the vendors could see what was going on. That being said, the wedding still turned out well, with the missing seating chart being the only notable impact to guests. She told people where to go using her phone. The real issues were behind the scenes. She had already attempted to buck the issues to other vendors and to us, claiming we stopped communicating the last two weeks before the wedding, or that the florist was the reason she was running behind, even though the florist was willing to do more work, she just had already waited there more than half an hour and left when the planner still wasn’t there. She did reply to a text the day after the wedding to confirm everything got cleaned up, but did not reply for a follow up discussion after the honeymoon. I hope that the issues we experienced were either a result of this point in her life, the time of year of the ceremony being the busy season for weddings, or that maybe she is better as a full service planner than as a month-of/day-of planner as she was for us. If you do wish to book with her we’d recommend the off season or waiting a year plus from time of review.

I’m a wedding photographer that’s has worked with Alainna on a couple of weddings. Except for the couple, a photographer depends on and interacts with a wedding planner the most on a wedding day. A great planner is a must! And Alainna is amazing! Friendly, organized and detail oriented! The wedding setups she’s done are beautiful and nothing beats a planner who handles everything on the day so you can relax and enjoy your wedding stress free. At one wedding, the mother of the bride accidentally got red lipstick on the bride’s dress and Alainna was there within 2 minutes with a tide pen to save the day. You can’t go wrong with Perfect Timing Wedding and Events.

If I could give Alainna more stars I would! I honestly can’t imagine our wedding day without her. She is an absolute powerhouse at keeping everything and everyone in check, pushes to have everything ready ahead of schedule, and does whatever it takes to make your vision come to life. Alainna was fantastic with communication, quick to work through any challenges, and gave her honest thoughts when we needed them. I’m forever thankful for Alainna and how she helped make our wedding day so special for us, and would highly recommend her to anyone who is planning a wedding or upcoming event. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
