My best friend and I went down to the Pinewood escapes for a weekend escape and it was all the pictures describe and more.... The place was like a Haven... Serene and quiet.. my friend who has always lived in the city was just really taking aback by how quiet it was and how peaceful it was.... I'm a country girl at heart and I love looking at the water and the woods beyond it.. the hot tub was perfectly placed and you are separated by all the other cabins, lots of privacy. I already booked my next stay, this time I'm bringing my fiance!!!!

Pinewood Escapes is absolutely beautiful and the perfect place to relax. It had everything we needed and so much more. The lodge has lots of room to spread out and unwind, including a pool table that we used a lot! We made tons of great family memories here…between the peaceful views, the hot tub, and all the space to explore, there was something for everyone. The lake was a huge hit with the kids, especially with the kayaks and paddle board. It was cozy, comfortable, and the hosts were super accommodating. Honestly, it was just the perfect getaway and we can’t wait to come back.

Booking our vacation time at Pinewood Escapes was super easy. We arrived in the dark (night time) and went inside to find a very clean, modern and well thought out cozy escape. Many small details awaited us, unique cups and glasses, bath towels, hot tub towels, kitchen utensils, phone chargers, etc. Our morning was a great surprise with our king size bed overlooking a beautiful backyard with a large natural pond and hot tub on the patio. We would highly recommend a visit to Pinewood Escapes. We also were offered a tour of “The Lodge”. The lodge is a 5 bedroom lodge with all the amenities you could want including a full kitchen, large living room space with a pool table, a great view of the beautiful backyard pond.

What a great place to hang out and re-energize! We stayed in the Lodge - lots of space for all our family to spread out yet be together. Everything is thoughtfully placed and cared for, from the welcome note when you arrive to the big red chairs for sitting by the lake. Nature is nearby but not overwhelming. Beautiful inside, inspiring outside!
