My go to pool supply place in Barrie - water testing is fast and pretty accurate. Staff know what they are talking about especially in the parts area with lots of helpful advice. Interesting fact - Pool Supplies Canada is their online store and based in Burlington and you can often find the same stuff for cheaper so check it out for big ticket items. Their salt is 13 / bag while it’s 6 at Costco so be aware you’re paying a LOT more for some basic stuff….but overall a great local pool supply place.

Disappointed in the delivery service for a patio furniture set purchased from Pioneer in Barrie. They were to call and let us know when the delivery was to occur. Came home to six boxes on our deck, no mention that we were going to be responsible for assembling the set on our own when we bought it. Be careful with the details when you buy here. Quality of the set is great, we have ten other pieces from CR Plastics, this was the first time it was dumped on our deck in boxes and not assembled. We had called the store but they haven’t returned our calls yet so I spent half a day putting it together in the heat. 🥵

I stopped into Pioneer Pools in Barrie a few days ago to look at some patio furniture and had the pleasure of speaking with Shannon. She was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel pressured to buy anything. It was clear she genuinely cared about helping me find the right fit for my space. Shannon was kind, patient, and professional — exactly what you hope for when making a big purchase. Our process started almost a year ago. We were starting to source out pool companies and gather quotes. We had already been fans of Pioneer Pools after our Hot Tub purchase a couple of years ago. When I put in the request for more information to obtain a quote, Mark was fast and friendly with a response. We booked an appointment for him to come by and give an official quote. Out of the few companies we had come by, Mark was the only one that pulled out a tape measure to get an accurate size. He flagged and staked out the approximate shape of the pool, which help give us a real visual. Once making the obvious choice of Pioneer Pools to create our backyard bliss, the communication was flawless. Any questions, comments or requests, they were all attended to by Mark via email in a timely manner. Once the crew started our pool in late April they were clean, respectful, professional and patient. We then graduated Marks Pool School in June, and we were off running. We continue to trust Pioneer with our water samples, supplies and accessories from the beautiful showroom. We have always had friendly service and wealth of knowledge shared with us, with regards to both our pool and hot tub. We highly recommend Pioneer Pools and their fantastic staff. Thanks Mark, Kelly and all who have helped make our backyard, our FAVOURITE part of our home!
