Customer experiences
normally a chill enough spot for a casual stop with a few friends, slow service but great hospitality and prices on drinks. I don’t truly believe this is worthy of a 1 star, but eating so lowly to increase odds of others seeing this: This friday night i arrived at 12:12am and was turned away, being told they were not accepting anyone else for the night. Not because they were at capacity (about half the tables were open), but for no clear reason… it was -28°c tonight. Don’t make plans to come here with friends if it’s remotely uncomfortable outside, because apparently there is no guarantee of entry even with space. Frankly ridiculous, and unfortunately I won’t be back again.
We had an excellent server, and we enjoyed some lighthearted conversation with him. The food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the club sandwich, which was generously portioned. I playfully remarked to the server good thing I have a big mouth.🤣. My husband opted for the fish and chips.
If you're looking for a place with fantastic burgers and tasty appetizers, look no further than Molly! First, let's talk about the burger - one of my favourite in the Waterloo region. It was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of juiciness and flavour. I appreciate the generous portion - this burger is definitely a meal in itself! As for the poutine bites they were absolutely delicious (the App menu is only available after 9pm I believe). Aside from the food, I also appreciate the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the pub. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe is laid-back and comfortable.
Really liked this place! They have a lot of options and are inclusive of different food sensitivities. They give large portions and it is pretty affordable for students. They have inexpensive drink options as well and it is usually very busy but worth the wait! We were all very full after our meals. Featured here is the lobster mac and cheese and it had really great flavour!
Piper Arms Waterloo is a bar.
