Our dog Ashur is super sensitive and has struggled with anxiety her whole life. Because of that, we haven’t gone on a family trip in 8.5 years. We have always had a family member stay with her because we were too worried to leave her anywhere else. This year, to celebrate my son’s birthday, we decided to finally take a trip. My husband even thought about canceling his plans because we weren’t sure how Ashur would cope. Then we met Chantale. From the very first meeting, I felt an immediate sense of trust. We decided to send Ashur for a short daycare trial, and that’s when everything changed. While we were away, Chantale sent us regular photo and video updates, and we were honestly brought to tears seeing how calm and content Ashur looked. She even walked through stores without fear, something we never imagined she could do. It was like watching a completely different dog. Chantale has a special gift. She is experienced, kind, and truly understands dogs, no matter their challenges. For the first time in years, we were able to enjoy a family trip knowing Ashur was safe, understood, and loved. I can’t thank Chantale enough for giving us that peace of mind. If you are looking for someone loving, patient, and trustworthy to care for your fur babies, she is the one.

Words cannot express how grateful we are that we found Chantale and Pathfinder Ranch! 2 years ago we decided to rescue a puppy, Fern, and had no idea how much this sweet girl would upend our lives. We’ve worked tirelessly with trainers, behaviourists, and vets and just could not figure out how to have our highly sensitive girl trust anyone outside of our family. After trying unsuccessfully for 2 years to have Fern accept any outside people in our home or outside of it, we were at the point of feeling completely hopeless that our family would ever be able to travel together again. And then we found Chantale!! Her gentle patience and perfectly timed intuition has opened our Fern up to trusting outside of our family. Fern is able to successfully interact with Chantale and other dogs while visiting the ranch-something I was starting to believe was impossible. For the first time in years our family can go away together with the peace of mind that our sensitive girl is in the best place. We are forever grateful!!!

Chantale and her crew are the best! I was so worried about our anxious rescue dog at drop off because she was very nervous. Chantale gave me daily updates with photos which eased my mind. Our girl was happy and well cared for. She got to pick where she felt most comfortable to sleep at night (no cage or kennel). We have been bringing our dogs to Chantale for many years and have always been so happy with the experience. Thank you, once again Chantale!

Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our dog, Scout, had never stayed at a boarding facility before, she’s a four-year-old standard poodle who at first can be anxious and unsure in new situations. From day one, Chantale and her team at Pathfinder Dog Ranch and Pet Care went above and beyond. They immediately picked up on Scout’s insecurities and gave her the extra time, attention, and one-on-one care she needed to feel safe and loved. Their kindness and understanding made all the difference. Because of this Scout eventually settled in and was running around with the other dogs, playing, and clearly having fun. She spent 3 nights at Pathfinder Dog Ranch and Chantale even video called us on WhatsApp during our trip to give us an update and show us how Scout was doing, and she sent a photo of Scout resting next to a staff member who was petting her. These thoughtful updates gave us peace of mind. We felt confident that Scout was in good hands. Chantale runs an amazing, well-organized operation with genuine care and attention to detail. I would not hesitate to recommend Pathfinder to anyone looking for a safe and loving place for their dog.
