On July 27 I scheduled an art pickup in early August for a very large painting at a remote location to be shipped to a client in early September. On the 31st I sent a confirmation email (which was opened). In early August I checked in to make sure the painting was on its way. It went unanswered. I also sent a message to Mark the driver, which went unanswered. August 8 I called Petr, the owner, to find out what was going on and was told they did not make the pickup. They did not even let me know. They said they could do the pickup on their next trip, end of month. I confirmed the new pickup in a written message, and said I was made to look very unprofessional to my client, and asked what is the best way to communicate to prevent this happening in the future. I did not get a response. Eventually I canceled the shipment and found someone else who answers. I can't do business like that. Super unreliable and incommunicative.
