Exceeded my expectation by a lot! Really good quality food and amazing service. The pork ribs had just the right amount of sauce and sweetness, unlike sensationally sweet and strong sauce that you usually get from a restaurant whcih makes you sick afterwards. Very happy that I came here!
Post & Row Server: Brooke Bartender: Jenelle All ingredients sourced locally, so that’s a huge plus! I’m strongly being recommended to come back and try their smash burger and/ or steak. Service was great, but I sat at the bar so I was right in front of their faces. The busyness of the restaurant was manageable but definitely not overwhelming for the staff. Falafel: green wrap, not pita Taziki not Garlic sauce or humus Tahini… meh, couldn’t taste it Lettuce and tomato *no pickles, no turnips, no radish, no onions, no tahbouli* Very underwhelming, would not recommend this as your first introduction to what a falafel is. I know I’m listing off traditional ingredients in a falafel but that’s just me. Truffle parm fries: Double coated fries, not my jam! Fries were stiff as if over fried Garlic aioli was decent Better than the falafel Humus: The garlic was green! Suggestions - a little salt, tahini, olive oil, crushed black pepper, a squeeze of lemon and dust with Aleppo pepper or smoked paprika. Crème brûlée: Decent portion size Very bland and tasteless Not creamy at all and consistency was broken, looked like egg custard (if I’m being nice) or curdled milk (if I’m being honest) Definitely would not recommend this dessert either. In the end, I wasn’t happy with my food; but I ate it because I ordered it, and I paid for it because I ate it. I don’t like to waste food and I do like to be adventurous with my choices. It’s just disappointing when you get worked up over a very convincing recommendation and it ends up being the complete opposite. You reap what you sow. I’m up to giving it another shot. As stated in the beginning of this review, I was strongly recommended to try their smash burger and or steak. Thanks for the conversation ladies and the passion you shared for your establishment!
Post & Row is a must-try food spot in Dawson Creek! Very cool place and amazing atmosphere! And the quality of the food is next level! I tried the pulled pork sandwich with fries and gravy and it was absolutely superb! The fries were extra crispy and fresh, and the gravy had great flavour and the perfect consistency. The pulled pork sandwich itself was incredibly balanced and very flavourful! 10/10!
