Arrived Saturday night at 6pm and plenty of parking spaces. Greeted by a friendly member of staff. Room (117) was clean and comfortable. Due to the time of the year it was a bit cold but the room heating soon sorted that out. Very good value, would recommend.

I just wanted a hotel to spend a peaceful New Year's Eve with my partner. Laura was a friendly and lovely lady at reception who gave us a warm welcome. ||The hotel is right by the motorway and my room was on the side facing the traffic and was not disturbed by the noise (with the windows closed). It has a Starbucks right outside the hotel which was convenient to grab breakfast from in the morning.||If you want a simple room for a resting place and/or to be away from people then this is the place to stay.

Lovely staff. Friendly welcome by Laura. Generally place feels a bit tired. Slightly fusty. No plugs by bed or charging points and nowhere for food. But very comfy and clean and very good price

The hotel is quite dated and looking tired. Rooms are basic Travelodge rooms but they have a kettle with tea and coffee etc. There was a bath in the bathroom with a shower over. The bathroom gets quite condensated as there's no ventilation. The plug sockets aren't next to the bedside tables so you have to get out of bed to switch off your morning alarms if you're charging phones overnight. Third world problem I know! The staff were friendly and helpful and directed us to restaurants some 10 minutes away as the pub next door stopped serving food early.
