Really lovely experience at this hotel. Room was large and very comfortable. For an older building, it was up together and the rooms were well presented.|Staff were all lovely and friendly. |We ate one evening in the hotel and had breakfast both days. The food was really good quality pub style and very enjoyable. |Clevedon at night is really quiet and so was the hotel so making it a really relaxing stay.|Dog friendly too. we would return again.

Upon arrival, the hotel had lots of character and I was pleased to be staying somewhere with a sea view.||However upon entering my room I was confused why the fire alarm outside my door was set off when I closed my door. There were three locks on my door, one not working, yet when toggled down, the alarm didn’t go off when closing the door. ||There was quite a noticeable smell of bleach in the room but I opened the window and didn’t think anything more of it. Generally I thought the room was clean, until I went to close the blind in the bathroom before heading to dinner to find it covered in dead flies and moths.||When I re-entered after an unusual dining experience in the restaurant, I then began noticing more faults with the room. In addition to the moths and flies on the blind, I found the bathroom wall to be in a disgusting state, and questioned how well the room had been cleaned between guests when I spotted a chocolate wrapper on the floor under the desk. ||It has put me off staying here again - I expect basic cleanliness and this stay did not achieve this for me.

We love the Walton Park and I have been going since 1961, at that time with my parents. My wife and myself went on our honeymoon there and have been going|many times since. Probably 3 times a year or more. It is a very relaxed atmosphere. |The food is wonderful. We are going again this year in May, only one thing I would note that the pillows are rather hard so I will ensure that on our arrival I will ask for softer pillows.

I've had the pleasure of staying in this hotel twice in the past three months and on both occasions our/my situation required booking at very short notice which was dealt with the minimal amount of fuss. ||The hotel has fabulous views over the Bristol Channel to Wales which both the dining room and main bar overlook. The rooms are well decorated and the bathrooms have a modern contemporary feel about them.||Food is excellent. The bar menu has a wide variety of reasonably priced meals for the evening and the breakfast offers a hot cooked buffet, plus the usual cereals, breads, fruit juices etc.||The best feature of this hotel though, are the staff. Without exception everyone is friendly and nothing is too much trouble. There is a real family/team feel about the place which lends itself to a very welcoming, warm atmosphere about the hotel. Both my visits have owing to emergency family situations and I had no hesitation in where to stay when it came to my second visit.||It's just a fabulous place.
