I had the best experience at phc! Everyone was absolutely wonderful n helpful. I'm not exaggerating. My new Dr. Lashelle Goode was exactly what I've been searching for in a doc! She cared! She has a heart n soul! Something I've literally been looking for for years! Your not going to find that anywhere! I've searched! I'm so happy! Tu primary health care. This is the worst place if you are trying to schedule for children Or work at a school. As our child who has been trying to get scheduled for a year had an appointment for tomorrow. For the second time now they removed her from the schedule entirely. When we called to confirm at 4 P.M. they said sorry you need to confirm by 3 P.M. they called at 3:37 P.M. this is absolutely unacceptable. What kind of backwards crap clinic is being run. As of today this dentistry clinic will have 5 new open slots because I will not bring my family back here again. Especially since I had just confirmed with my boss that I had the day off to deal with this dentist visit and will be losing a full day of pay for an appointment that doesnt exsit anymore.

They need help bad, so if this is your field please apply to work at this clinic. They are a bit unprofessional but that could be because they need more staff. I’ve been coming to this clinic for years and that’s only because this is what my medical plan covers. So maybe both the state and this places needs some updating. I had an appointment today at 10:40 am I was trying to call and communicate with someone that my eta time was 10:45 and no one answered the phone of course. I get to the building at like 10:43 instead and I walk in and the ladies at the front aren’t helping anyone physically, so I think to myself why is no one answering the phone just sitting and letting it ring it was so annoying to see walking in. Also at times it seems like it’s no communication going on between the staff so the place can be in such a mess. Taking anywhere from 15mins to 45mins to be called back and been seen. Overall this place is a mess. I like the vision and the mission but this place definitely needs some help overall.

I had a tooth start hurting so I called they got me in as an emergency patient because I was in pain and pregnant, i was told I was going to have a root canal done they started the root canal and couldn't finish it i had a curved root canal so they referred me to a place in des moines they finished the root canal and put in a temporary filling, I had to call phc to make an appointment to get the crown, which they told me I needed to me a new patient and needed a cleaning, I understand i needed one I just dont get why we didnt schedule that before going to the place in des moines, and why start a project and not finish it or communicate how many appointments it's going to be in the very beginning, then when I went to the cleaning appointment I was trying to tell the girl why I was upset that I just wish I knew how many appointments it was going to be and what to expect but she started to make mean comments back like "we dont just take any body off the street" and just making really rude remarks. Over all i just felt thrown around and a lack of communication and them not being able to listen to a patient without making rude remarks
