I have been a patient here since 2009, and unfortunately, the service has declined significantly. I have called multiple times this week to schedule an appointment and the phone is rarely answered. When someone does answer, the staff can be dismissive and unhelpful, which is very frustrating. Last year, I became sick and went in as a walk-in. I arrived before they began accepting walk-ins, waited until they opened, only to be told to go to the location on 14th Street. When I arrived there, I was told they were not accepting walk-ins and that I should go to the Hickman location. After being sent back and forth with no clear communication, I ended up going to UnityPoint instead, where I received prompt and respectful care. If you have insurance and are able to choose where you receive care, I recommend going somewhere that values your time and treats you with respect. This experience was very disappointing, especially considering the many years I have been a patient here.

I have been going to this clinic for years only because my doctor moved here from MercyOne to train interns. In the last two days I have called numerous times trying to get an appointment. On hold for minimum of 10 minutes each time only for a recording to say 'we are experiencing high call volume, please try your call again later'. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I am fed up because this happens all the time! Looks like I will be searching for a new doctor.

They NEVER answer the phone don’t go here. You can’t even speak with someone, I called as soon as they open to try to get to someone, and waited, waited, waited, & waited it’s a bit ridiculous if you ask me. Iowa commission civil rights should shut down this clinic especially after what everybody knows about this facility I think myself and a few others will report them today.
