I haven't had the opportunity to experience the retreat, but I can speak to the serenity of the property - I grew up there. Of all the places I've lived, this is the place all the rest are measured against. I miss hiking through the paths with the sun dappling through the leaves.

My sister and I recently attended the Summer Sanctuary Day Retreat with Janelle (Pigeon Lake Wellness) and Carmon (Pure Awareness Yoga) and it was the perfect combination of nature, movement, relaxation, learning, ceremony and rest. It was an awesome, full day itinerary led by two very warm and friendly experts, and the group dynamic was great. Food was light and lovely and time taken away from busy lives was long overdue. If you ever want a break from it all I highly recommend enjoying any retreat, class or ceremony. Makes an awesome gift too! Grounding and rejuvenating!

We just spent a blissful weekend at Pure Awareness. The owner was absolutely wonderful! She has curated a space for nature bathing and relaxation. She recommended Paddle Boarding. Initially we thought Saturday would be great- but it was only 12 degrees and rainy. She mentioned the next few days would be warmer. We ended up going on Monday with 29 degree weather. It was worth the wait! Highly recommend this Yoga Retreat Centre.

Carmon (and partner) have created an amazing experience. Their hospitality and attention to detail is exceptional. The beds/bedding are so cozy. The wash bins/hand sanitizer/slippers are a thoughtful touch. The grounds are amazing with beautiful gardens and walks. You can tell their pour so much love into their property. Was lovely to get to know her a bit and their sweet dog.
