Only in New York City would people actually pay these prices... Location is amazing and the staff were nice, but this place is pretty disgusting - yellow sheets, dirty bathrooms, dust. Our room felt especially dingy with no window (although we knew that when we booked it). If you need somewhere to sleep and shower, by all means book, but don't expect luxury.
Many of the reviews are dated. I stayed here one night, it was very clean, I had a comfy bed and it served the purpose. Yes its not a new build and there are stairs that you have to carry bags up. It was affordable and reception staff friendly
Positive: Clean; a safe place to sleep Negative: No frills at all. Just a bed, desk and enough room to walk in between. Not something if you are planning on being in the room all day
