The service was personal—we were helped by just one person, but he was very friendly and welcoming. The upstairs seating area is a cute and cozy spot, adding to the charm of the place. It’s tucked away from the busier parts of Shattuck, giving it a more relaxed feel while still being conveniently located. A great spot if you’re looking for organic eats in a quieter setting!

I ordered the Egyptian falafel wrap just the way the owner likes it, and it was the freshest tasting wrap I’ve had in Berkeley. It wasn’t overly salted or spiced, so I could taste all the veggie flavors. It really felt like eating good, honest food. His daily-made hummus is terrific and tasted even better the next day.

The wrap does leak through a double bag, so keep that in mind if you're doing takeout. (I'd recommend dine-in or eating over a plate for this reason.)
