I had a great experience with Christian Brothers Automotive working on my son’s truck. Brad, the technician, did a thorough inspection and clearly identified the issues, which immediately gave me confidence in their process. Jason, the service writer, communicated everything clearly and professionally, and Russ, the owner, has built a shop you can trust. From diagnosis to repair plan to execution, the team was detailed, transparent, and focused on actually fixing the problem the right way — not just putting a band-aid on it. I left feeling confident the issues were fully addressed and resolved. Highly recommend this location.

I took my 4Runner in to diagnose a bumping noise when coming off the brake. They couldn’t replicate the problem even though it happens every time I drive. The charged me the diagnostic fee of 170$ anyway without blinking an eye. If you can’t replicate it then you shouldn’t have to pay the fee—common sense. Also recommended things that didn’t need to be done (of course) and gave bad advice. Save your money and do it yourself. They did, however, reach out and say that they were willing to diagnose it again if the problem comes back. So, I changed the score to a 2 star from a one star. Charging someone 170$ when you literally did nothing, is still crazy—no matter how much you will do in the future. You should just say that you will charge the money when you come back and the problem is there not visa versa. Sheesh.

CB completed the mechanical services very well - and so far so good. Their estimates were extremely high, though. Thank you to Jason for catching a $600 overestimate for labor. But I don’t think they would have prevented it if I hadn’t asked how much they charged per hour for labor ($175 btw is what Jason told me) and how they could charge so much for labor on my work order when they only had 6 hours left of work day to do the job. Makes me wonder. In all, I believe I spent 25% more $ there than I could have if I had took time to shop and review recommendations of other quality auto mechanics. Also, make sure you receive and review an itemized work order for all parts and labor proposed before letting them start the work. Google for a comparable cost for such work.

The dealership messed up the alignment on my truck. Called the dealership the next morning and they told me they wouldn’t be able to look at it for 3 days. That didn’t sit well with me and I didn’t trust them to do it correctly the 2nd time. Called Christian Brothers in Tulsa hills because I’ve had good experiences with them in the past. They were able to get me right in and get my truck driving straight again. If you are looking for a shop with friendly staff, trustworthy and performs good work I would recommend giving them a shot.
