Red Roof Inn Baltimore South - Glen Burnie

We weren't thrilled. Booked this room last minute, after deciding to spend the remainder of the day and night exploring Annapolis. We simply wanted a decent hotel with a pool - and this was advertised as having a pool. It was the second week of September and temperatures were still in the mid- eighties. When we checked in we learned that the pool was closed for the season. And the room was a dump. The main door frame was completely smashed. When we attached the security chain at night, the wood the chain was attached to simply fell off the wall. The bathroom door had dried snot all over it. In some places you could see dried boogers that were painted over. It was pretty gross. We could have stayed next door in a bright, clean looking hotel that had an open pool - and we gladly would have, had we known - for a comparable rate. I gladly would have spent more to get a nice room with a pool. I simply didn't get what I paid for. The staff was nice, however.

Stayed at the Best Western Annapolis and I’ll start with the good news: location is spot on (close to everything I needed), the service was friendly and helpful, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. Honestly, I slept great. Now, the bad news: no coffee maker in the room. Let me repeat that—no coffee maker. Which meant my morning looked like a survival show episode: me stumbling half-asleep through the halls in search of caffeine before I could function like a normal human being. So yes, great stay overall… but if you’re like me and require coffee before you can even spell “coffee,” pack your own travel kit or prepare for an early morning adventure. ☕😂

I've experienced many levels of hotels in my life. I have never experienced such a absolutely perfect place to stay until coming here. From the second I checked in until my mid night/early morning check out, words can hardly express my gratitude. Andrew, by far, reminded me that beautiful people in the world still exist, and I can't wait to return and continue business here. Thank you 💜
