Despite the bad reviews, I have not had any problems. The cars are new and clean. Often I was given a higher class car without any extra charges. Great prices. There is one major tip to avoid a bad experience. Always buy insurance directly from RentACarDirect, the price is quite reasonable. They check the car thoroughly upon return, so it's best to avoid unnecessary disputes.

This was the worse car rental experience in my 25 years of renting a car. I got charged an additional $390 for supposedly "failing to report a trip abroad." Except that I did not go abroad, and did not agree to such an extortionate fee when the total rate was $90. I had to place a chargeback with my credit card company.

RAC's office located within the terminal made the pick-up process seamless. For a reasonable fee of 30pln, I was able to return the car without cleaning it, which saved me valuable time and was only marginally more expensive than using a traditional car wash. This convenience was greatly appreciated and something I recommend to future renters. The highlight, of course, was the rental car itself. It was the exact BMW 1 Series that I had booked, and it was practically brand new. The interior and exterior were impeccably clean, and the car was equipped to a very nice specification. RAC went above and beyond by providing a high-spec vehicle, proving their commitment to quality service. Throughout my trip, the car performed flawlessly, delivering a smooth and enjoyable driving experience. Even in an unfortunate situation where a minor collision occurred, RAC's staff was readily available over the phone to assist with the necessary paperwork. Their support and responsiveness in times of need further emphasized their dedication to customer satisfaction. The return of the car was also very smooth, with the only small issue being finding the parking area, which I believe is more the airport's fault. Within just a few days, I received notification of any deductions from the deposit, and I found the charges to be fair and transparent. Overall, my experience with RentACarDirect was extremely positive from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable and hassle-free car rental experience in Warsaw. Their commitment to quality vehicles, exceptional customer service, and transparent processes makes them a top choice for future rentals. I personally intend to use RAC again for my future travels.

Totally scam! In February, we rented a car. We had it from the 10th to the 15th, planning to pick it up at noon and return it by 5 p.m., so we paid for an extra day, which is pretty standard. We dropped the car off at 5 p.m., but the office was closed. When we called, nobody answered, so we followed the instructions to leave the key in the dropbox outside. We even took a photo as proof. Then the trouble began. They wanted to charge us extra for returning the car after hours, claiming the day had passed. But we had already paid for that extra day, clearly stated in about 20 emails. Finally, they agreed not to charge us extra for the late return but said they would dock nearly $60 for parking fees. I was fed up, so I agreed, realizing there was no way out of this mess. And here's the kicker: I still haven't gotten my DEPOSIT back. I paid with my bank card, and they say they refunded the money and canceled the hold. But I've tried explaining, with all the evidence including bank statements, that the money hasn't hit my account. Since I used a bank card, they should be processing a refund, not just canceling the hold. But they don't seem to get it, and they're ignoring my emails to dodge giving me my money back. They're total scammers, completely unprofessional.
