We had a move from Canada to the US booked with Sheffield, via Allied. We were very happy with the service. We had Tim help us with the estimate and organizing the logistics. Things were smooth despite some late changes on our end. The day of, we had Mike come and do the packing. He was very polite, efficient, and meticulous. Everything made it to the other end in great shape with no damage. Would recommend Sheffield to others for long distance moves.

A.J and Mike did a great job loading and documenting all my items. They took care with each item, and even helped me figure out how to pack some oddly shaped item (fishing poles, smoker, guarding equipment). They were fantastic.

Do Not Hire Sheffield Movers, I moved from Ontario to Nova Scotia with Sheffield Movers. They packed, moved and put all my items in storage; 4 Italian hand sewn leather dining chairs (worth $4000)were majorly damaged…they were Not packed in boxes as I requested 3 time while they were loading the truck in Ontario. They stored the chairs in the truck with no wrapping or any protective cover for the chairs. As well, many, many items in my NS storage unit were not packed by Sheffield mover accurately in my Storage unit. A $5000 leather orange lounge chair had items stacked on it…permayindents all over the leather chair (enlarge attached picture to see leather damage) it is totally ruined. I moved $25K of beautiful, expensive furniture and there was at least $10,000 of damaged items. My furniture is irreplaceable due to the unique design and quality. Never again would I book with Allied Van Lines Or Sheffield Movers…the cost for this hap-hazard move was well over $11,000. If I had to do it again, I would have sold everything beforehand in Ontario and bought new in Nova Scotia. I seriously thought because Sheffield Movers were affiliated with Allied Van Lines that I’d get 5 Star Service…So far from the reality of the actual situation, I have no other words, just 💯regret that I chose Sheffield.

We hired Sheffield Moving & Storage for a move from Ontario to New Brunswick as they provided a competitive quote and we wanted to use a reliable trusted company. We weren't disappointed! The movers arrived on time and loaded our belongings with care, taking time to wrap every item of furniture. They took the time to carefully load the truck so as to prevent any damage (and there was no damage.) The workers were friendly and polite and the driver was very informative. Our items arrived within the time frame provided by our consultant and were quickly offloaded and placed where we requested. They even moved a few items twice as we didn't have a set spot for them. They put all our furniture back together and removed all wrappings etc. We were very happy with the amazing service we received and with the very friendly workers. I give Sheffield Moving & Storage and five star rating and highly recommend them for your next move. Thank you!
