Ripping Yarns

As far as looks are concerned this enormous company is in various connected areas and all are, from the road passing, very smart and do not look like a takeover of Ripon. We have passed frequently while in Ripon and the various buildings, which have no listing apart from Wolsey UK Ltd do catch your eye as you pass. As a whole, it is very smart and I asume each building is there for a different reason. I personally have no information as to what they do but I am sure someone nearer could find out.

Wolseley Online: Placed an order for two large hot water tanks online on 22nd October 2018 and paid with with credit card and given a delivery date. I waited in, all day, for the delivery and it did not arrive. Rang Wolseley who said sorry we ran out of stock [ but didn't have the courtesy to ring and tell me !] Don't worry they said, we will deliver them next week. Then I received an email telling me to go to the branch 8 miles away to process the credit card payment [ which would have meant an hour off work] . I refused, as it defeated the purpose of an online order and they then said they would process it. Tanks arrived fine, but they then they debited my card 30 pounds more than the original order receipt. Rang to complain, don't worry we will sort it they said. They didn't. Now today(12th Nov) rang the online order team and asked to make a formal complaint. They put me through to the Complaints Dept who could not give me a complaint reference number, as they don't deal with the online complaints!!! [ but they said they will get someone to remedy it].. really Wolseley you know how to make a big deal of online orders!! [ Online 7270110] 12th Nov; Helpful & understanding staff member from Wolseley has rung to say the refund for the overcharging is being processed today. Thank you. 23rd November 2018; Shockingly, despite the fine words & promise from customer service(on 12th Nov) they still have not credited the refund for the overcharging; some 11 days after promise and 20 days since they took the money. Wolseley online & complaints have some serious sorting out to do. I am now reporting them to the credit card company. Any chance of dealing again in the future with Wolseley online has now gone.
