Love this place !! I’m a USAPL lifter and this place feels like home ! Calibrated plates and competition equipment gives me a spot to improve as a powerlifter! The owner is really good with newcomers and regulars , he makes it feel like a second home !
Risk is by far the best gym in the city. Atmosphere and culture is unmatched. Equipment is heavy duty, tons of space in the gym. Eddie, the owner, provides tons of accessories to make achieving gains more effective. I can’t say enough good things about this place or Eddie himself. I’ve been here for about 8 months and I don’t plan on ever leaving. Pricing is also very fair. Whatever your fitness goals are Risk Barbell is the place to achieve them!
I love this gym! When I lived in Wichita I drove about 30 minutes here and back to workout every day because it truly is the best gym in Wichita. The staff is kind, the equipment is clean, and the vibes from the other gym members here are great. They definitely showed me what it’s like to be apart of a healthy gym community and helped kickstart my gym journey! If you are looking for a great gym with a wide range of lifting equipment, and a place to workout at with encouraging people, you will definitely love this gym!
The best gym in Wichita. Spacious, great parking, great vibes. Eddie is extremely knowledgeable and a great guy. He makes a point to socialize with everyone coming in and has created an extremely welcoming environment. I have been training with him for over a year and have added over 100lbs to my squat, 30 lbs to bench, and almost 100lbs on my deadlift. The numbers speak for themselves.
