I have been going here for a few months now and this gym has the necessities and some. The basic membership includes the general workout area with bikes, treadmills, stair climbers, rowers etc. plus general machines, stretching area/mats and free weights. On the last Thursday of every month, you are able to bring a friend/family member for free to take advantage of the Black Card amenities as well. The Black Card membership makes sense if you are a frequent user and will take advantage of the additional amenities. This includes a separate workout area with a few more machines and free weights, waterbed massagers, massage chairs and sauna use (during staffed hours). I also believe you can bring a guest at any point with this type of membership. The change rooms are always clean and there are showers available during staffed hours. The staff is friendly when they are there and can be seen cleaning the facility almost always. It is nice to take advantage of the 24/7 hours if you need to work around a busy schedule.
Really happy with joining this gym.Great area/space to workout at. Really clean change room and the staff always keep the area clean. All of the staff keep the gym clean and are very friendly. Talked to one of the employees and didn’t catch their name. Wish I knew all their names or a name tag on all of them would be my only critique to make it even more friendlier. Recommending to all my friends.
I’ve been a member at this Fit4Less location for almost two years, and overall, it’s been a decent place to train — clean, affordable, and generally well maintained. The addition of the trap bar and the updated stretching area were great improvements and show that the gym is trying to evolve. That said, I’ve been disappointed by how member requests are handled. Nearly a year ago, I (and others) asked for a simple, low-cost addition: a sturdy box so that people of shorter height can reach the pull-up bars safely & also allow for another set up for hip thrusts as this location only has 1 hip thrust machine. This isn’t a luxury item as many fit4less locations in the GTA have these available — it’s a basic accessibility and inclusivity issue that would make a big difference for many members. Despite a few requests, this has only been dismissed. It’s frustrating to see some upgrades happen while such a straightforward and inclusive improvement continues to be overlooked. I really hope management begins to take member feedback more seriously — it’s the small, thoughtful changes that make a gym truly welcoming to everyone.
