Without a doubt the worst moving experience in my 75 years on the planet. I booked my move in London On with what I thought was a company called Get Movers. They are very smooth when taking your booking order. You feel you made a good choice. Then the day of the move an old truck with Moes Movers shows up and you start to get worried. I booked for 3 guys to show up and 2 roll out. I ask where the 3rd guy is and with bad English skills they basically say no idea what I’m talking about. 2 hours later a 3rd guy shows up. It just goes bad to worse. The guys cannot disassemble my bed. No way no how. I get my building superintendent in and he has the bed apart in 10 minutes. They take over 60 minutes to arrive at my new apartment which is only 100 yards away. Then the owner of Moes phones to say I owe $1050 for the move. Then Get Movers guy phones and says they made mistake I owe $1400. The difference I assume is the tack on the Get Movers guy wants. I could go on and on but just think carefully about Get Movers. I made a mistake and hope you don’t.

We were quoted $1250 to move from a big steel box in London to our home in Cambridge. They didn't send a big enough truck and said they would have to move the remainder of our belongings the next day with an additional $750 charge and would only take cash or etransfer the second day (which they didn't tell us until near the end of the day on the second day). On the second day, they arrived 3 hours later than they had promised. They moved boxes one at a time and damaged several items. They took much longer than expected to get the job done. When we looked in the back of their truck, they had our belongings thrown all over. The blankets that we had used to cover and protect our furniture were thrown in piles. We were extremely disappointed and would highly recommend getting a quote from someone else (they don't stand by their quote anyway).
