Pros: first impression was good as far as appearance and cleanliness were concerned. Hotel reception staff were prepared for our group for a family reunion weekend and checking in was easy. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good.|Cons: The swimming pool was not operational at all during our stay and from reading other reviews had been out of order since the first of the year.???? This was definitely a downer as the kids were looking forward to this activity. Found this out too late to make other hotel arrangements for our large group. The elevator was a hit and miss, one relative was stuck on there for a little while and was pretty upset. Walking up and down the stairs ( 3 floors) was not something our elderly family members had anticipated having to do, but quite often had to be prepared to do. Made many complaints to desk staff, but to no avail.They just made excuses but we never saw a repairman or anyone come to service elevator. Nor did we ever see anyone working on pool area. You would think that after 6 months they would have had this taken care of. There occasionally was a sewer type odor that permeated through the first floor and on the elevator (when working). If not for these major problems I might consider coming back here, but I doubt it.

I was very pleasantly surprised at just how nice of a Best Western this was. The room was roomy. I like that there is a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The coffee maker in the room uses the K-Cups. The pool was not available during our stay but that was not important to me. There's lots nearby. It may not be in walking distance but it's still very close.

I have stayed at this location many times and enjoyed it. There must have been a change in ownership because the quality of the facility was extremely lacking. While clean, there must have been a water spill as there were fans in the lobby during my entire 4 day stay and it smelled as such. Only 1 ice machine on the ground floor and it was broken for 3 days. Pool was out of service as was one of the machines in the exercise room. The machine was wrapped in caution tape so I chose not to use any of the machines. No housekeeping service to swap out my towels, empty trash, or provide toilet paper. I had to do those things myself. Only 2 hangars in my room, when I requested more, they didnt have any and I had to wait for the manager the next day. In addition, on a weekend, they didnt have enough clean towels to replace the dirty ones I brought down. The excuse given was that the hotel sold out after I booked and they didnt have any more clean ones!|The business center had 2 computers, only 1 of which worked and the screen was poor quality, even after swapping screens.|At one point, the elevator also broke down but they were able to repair that quite quickly|The breakfast bar was quite good with plenty of offerings.|Staff was nice but the quality of the maintenance made for a poor stay.

Positive: For the most part it was decent for the price I paid. Breakfast was good, staff was helpful in what they could. Negative: Not a huge deal breaker but there were no ice machines working, elevator needs repairs, it malfunction a few times. Pool needs to get drained to get rid of wet smell since is not being used.
