The WayfarerStaff were nice and helpful. Food was good. Coffee was alright. Only we were a little turned off at the cutleries - we found bits of food on the knife. But I do hope and believe this was an accident…
Lisa AWe really enjoy visiting Rogue Fox Cafe—it’s a very kid-friendly place with a great atmosphere. Their cappuccino is one of our favorites, always delicious with a generous amount of chocolate on top, which we absolutely love! The food is consistently high quality, and it’s exciting that the owner/chef frequently introduces new dishes, making each visit interesting. However, the one downside is that several items from the menu are often unavailable when we visit. It’s a bit disappointing, especially when we’ve set our hearts on something specific. Despite this, it remains one of our favorite spots!
Alexander BaldwinUnfortunately, I find myself having to edit this review due to the number of times I've tried to dine here, only to be told they've ran out of food, or the kitchen closed early, or there's a really long wait on food. Doesn't seem to matter what day of the week, I never seem to be able to actual grab a bite to eat here, which is really disappointing. The food is still great I'm sure, but I can't give somewhere that's unequipped to deal with demand 5/5 stars. Initial review continues below. A truly superb hidden gem near Newport's train station, definitely worth wandering over the bridge to visit. Great coffee, and excellent food. Service was lovely and the atmosphere was welcoming. Only complaint I have is the seating; the benches against the wall aren't deep enough! Always find myself feeling like I'm going to fall forward into my Mocha 😅
Alison POur table was reserved by the window which is good in the summer but not when its cold outside, everytime the customers kept coming in, was pretty cold. Went up and ordered our food, did take a while as quite busy but the 3 of us enjoyed the catch up. When food arrived it was delicious all 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed it, only gripe my egg was overcooked very crispy, apart from that all good. Will definitely be visiting again.
