We were having reoccurring leaks in an area of our roof. When we requested the original contractor out again, they said that the cause of the leak was wind damage lifting the asphalt shingles. They suggested that we should be thinking about replacing a 40 year roof after 20 years. We decided to call Roof Repair Specialist. Guy Labbe came out to our house and assessed the roof. He said that the leak was not due to wind but with the installation. His recommendation was to repair just the area he laid out. When I asked him about needing the whole roof replaced, he felt that it was not necessary at this time. It’s great to have an honest opinion versus a “salesman." His crew came out and stripped the area down to the wood sheathing, replaced the paper and asphalt shingles. We completed the recommended repair and the work was completed and neatly. I have no doubt that our troubles are gone. Thank you.

He provided a thorough estimate and was easy to reach when we had questions regarding the job (throughout the process). Jose and Jesus completed the work and also took photos to show us the final result. This company also extended us the courtesy of completing the job in a timely fashion, which we greatly appreciated. It was time to finally tackle our roofs. We ended up contacting Roof Repair Specialists because our neighbor had used them and she recommended them. We had 3 areas-main house, studio and garage roofs that need repairing/replacing. As mentioned in the other reviews, Serge was very professional, thorough and knowledgeable. We liked that he took photos, vids of his inspection and pointed out the problem areas. I personally liked that Serge used a moisture gizmo that indicated that in some of the problem areas there was still moisture trapped (This was in May in LA!) He also took his time to thoroughly explain the repair materials being used and how the installment process would work. We had a choice of roof colors and went with the terracotta which complemented the terracotta tiles. I almost forgot to mention we also needed a skylight replaced and RRS was able to do that as well. The whole process-minus the skylight, which had to be ordered-took about 5-6 days. There was an on-site project manager each day that the crew was here. There were a couple hiccups with our communication expectations on the first day, but that was easily resolved. The RRS crew were all uniformed, respectful of where they parked and cleaned-up after themselves every day. About a week and half after the roofs were finished the skylight was installed and only took about an hour. Remarkable. We would also like to mention that all of the “office” staff were responsive, knowledgeable and very accommodating. RRS pricing was as expected and with the tutorial of what would be involved, seeing the installation team in action, excellent customer service and the beautiful end results…lets just say you get what you pay for.
