Doesn’t look like much from the outside but it was full with locals when we went in. It was so busy we had to have a drink at the bar while we waited for a table. The original owner met us at the door and was very welcoming. Great atmosphere with friendly staff. The food was excellent in both presentation and quality and quantity. Highly recommend if you are in Smithers looking for a good sit down meal.

We came to this restaurant due to its high reviews so we were expecting great food but it was definitely over rated. Vegetables were frozen which was shocking and meat was over cooked. Decent food, by no means bad, just expected a lot more for what it was reviewed and eat much better food at home or fraction of price.

Ordered a Bacon cheese skirt burger with fries from Telly's after a long overnight hike in babine provincial park. The first thing my partner and I noticed was that the fries and burger were very salty. While the flavors were good from both the fries and burger, the salt was overpowering and offputting. The patty was a bit tough but overall decent. Flavor of the fries were great (minus the salt) and they had a great crunch. The burger had a tangy delicious BBQ sauce taste with nice crispy flavorful bacon. Price was high for a single burger and fries in my opinion at $25+ . If I was in Smithers again I would look at other options on the menu online but may pass this place up if nothing else caught my eye.
