Landlords stay away from dealing with this company. I almost got scammed and fall for their shady business practices. They tried to trick me every step in the process. First they called me indicating that they have several prospective tenants that are already vetted, later discovered that this was not true. I allowed them to come to the property to take photos, a different agent showed up with paper work for an exclusive rights to rent the unit, something I clearly told the agent on the phone that I do not agree to. I did not sign and the agent left without taking photos. That should have been enough of a red flag not to deal with them. The other agent called me after and he asked to give him a chance for only two weeks window. I though I would try so I agreed, he sent me the agreement and I saw there was a set up fee that I would have to pay on top of the one month rent commission, this fee was never discussed with me, I would have signed up for had I not carefully reviewed the agreement, another shady practice! I did not sign until the agent sent me an email waiving the set up fees. Two weeks after, they had no vetted applicants, few names, non with income verification or credit checks so after 10 days I sent the agent an email to terminate the agreement. He never responded to my email. I rented the unit myself as I normally do. 6 weeks later while I was away, they sent me an email indicating that there is an offer for me to review. I ignored the email and I thought this was an error since there was no showing and no communication for 5 weeks prior to that email, an email suggesting there is an offer I need to respond to. Later they sent me an email indicating that the offer was withdrawn, then an email threatening me with collection. Finally their collection agent called me yesterday and I fold him that I already terminated the agreement 6 weeks ago. He asked me to forward the email to him then he acknowledged that the case is dropped and they had screwed up. Clearly this company pray on small landlords hoping they forget to send the termination email to terminate the agreement or they do not review the agreement. I will never do business with this company again.
