Just got off the phone with I believe was someone named Kathy, she was the most rude person ive ever spoken to regarding healthcare. I’ve been waiting 10 days for this phone call, she cut me off several times and got upset at me for thinking it is a complicated process. I wish someone could go back and review this phone call to see just how unprofessional this was. October 15th at 9:55am if that helps. She hung up on me mid sentence too.

I really like my doctor and how he listen to me. Dr. Gomez is really awesome. And he got back to me when I had questions about my prescriptions and other medical issues I was dealing with. However, I do not recommend speaking to their registered nurse team from the intake reps. I talked to an attitude fueled one just a moment ago and she got really spicy with me. I had no idea that my doctor wasn't on site until we had been talking for 30 minutes. She was very clinical and how she was asking her questions and didn't seem to have any iota of empathy. I will just wait to call my doctor on Monday. I can't believe how some people can treat others like they're just a problem to resolve instead of a human being with real emotions. I am the patient and you are the professional that supposed to be helping...

Three phone calls a day for the past week trying to speak to someone to cancel an appointment. About 2 hours on hold waiting per day and never did speak to anyone. Even when you go to to the office, the desk ladies are ignoring you and talking among themselves. Worst patient services ever. So far this morning, I have been on hold over 3 different phone calls for 67 minutes. Nothing and my appointment is tomorrow and needs to be canceled or I will be charged for their greedy, lazy problems. U of U clinics are so much better at customer service abd are staffed appropriately.

It has been really frustrating as a patient here. It is almost impossible to actually talk to someone over the phone. HUGE wait times and mostly interacting with recorded operators. I had to switch from U of U because my insurance changed, and it has been such a hassle just to see a primary care provider. Whenever I need to see my doctor, they just encourage me to go to urgent care, which is an extra cost. Leaning a little too heavily into automated systems, in my opinion - losing touch with their patients' preferences and needs.

Salt Lake InstaCare is a urgent care center.
