Had a fantastic meal at the restaurant for lunch today. There was a fair few of us, including children. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. A special shout-out to Courtney who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Friendly, attentive, and professional – she truly made us feel welcome. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I've been here twice now. Food is really good, I've had the tomatoe soup and the melt in the middle fish pie. The falafel and houmous, squash spinach & ricotta lasagna and katsu chicken topped fries. Dessert, im not so adventurous, and i only ever get cheese cake anywhere i go. Presentation 10/10, flavourful and perfect sized portions. The staff are friendly. I look forward to coming back again.

The food was acceptable and inexpensive, but the environment is scruffy and not very clean. And in the toilets there was a leak from a urinal with a towel thrown in it. There were signs to say it was being cleaned up but nothing happened in the nearly three hours we were there. There were not enough staff to take orders, so the queues were long. The staff were trying their best but could barely cope although it was not that busy. Once our order was taken it was an hour before our starters arrived, then two out of four came 10 minutes later. I am on a gluten free diet. My glutenfree soup came with normal bread. Initially the waitress said "it is gluten free", then when I asked her to check it was not. She then said "they keep doing that". This is a major concern and completely unnacceptable, they really must take some care. Then there was another big delay before our main courses.

On summer Sunday, it was busy, I had to wait more than 5 minutes at the bar to order. The location is good, next to Willen Lake, inside is nice, service is the same as in the standard English pub.
